Vickey Anne Branco

Vickey Anne Branco, 31, of Fall River, died unexpectedly Monday in Florida. She was the fiancée of Jeff Carvalho of Brooksville, FL.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of Manuel C. and Rosalina (Farias) Branco of Fall River (formerly Swansea); she lived most of her life in Fall River and Swansea. Vickey attended Bristol County Agricultural High School and later attended Case High School. She graduated from Johnson and Wales University with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. She worked as a chef for Caldeiras Restaurant and for other Fall River and Providence area restaurants.

She was an animal lover, and especially loved her dog "Diesel". She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and her nieces. She loved her life with her fiancé. She overcame many obstacles in her life and had a very out going personality.

Besides her parents and fiancé, she is survived by 3 sisters, Rose Cabral (Husband Paul) of Assonet, Michelle Costa (Husband Eddy) of Tiverton and Brenda Arico (Husband Pete) of Parma, OH; three nieces, Abigail Costa, Olivia Costa and Cassandra Cabral; aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Her Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Bernard Church, 30 South Main Street Assonet MA. Calling hours Tuesday in the church 5 - 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Flowers welcome or donations may be made to the Branco family. Arrangements are by the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St.
