Russell Correia, Jr.

BREWSTER… Russell S. Correia, Jr., 33, of Brewster passed away unexpectedly August 18, 2018.

He was a son of Joan A. Lynch.

Raised in Fall River, Russell was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School Class of 2002. Upon graduation, Russell attended Berklee College of Music in pursuit of his passion for music. Russell was a phenomenal trumpet player, displaying his talents in various bands, such as, the Hills Mills Clown Band, In the Face, and the Horn Dogs. Showing off his talent for cooking, Russell worked in various restaurants throughout his life. Russell also served as a member of the National Guard. A huge sports enthusiast, he loved all New England sports teams. Russell was always the largest personality in the room. His size, smile, and loud mouth commanded attention everywhere he went. He was a beautiful person and will be deeply missed

Along with his mother, survivors include his brother, Jason Linhares of Fall River; his sister Kaitlyn Linhares of Portsmouth, RI; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A visitation for Russell will be held Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 4 - 7 PM at Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Fall River followed by a Celebration of Life at 7 PM. Interment will be private.
