Rui Miguel Vieira Arruda

Rui Miguel Vieira Arruda, age 46, of North Dartmouth, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, in Fall River.

Born in St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of Duarte Manuel Reis Arruda and the late Maria da Fatima (Vieira) Arruda.

Rui had a deep love for sports, often reading sports magazines and always ready to chat about the latest football match. He enjoyed listening to Portuguese music and had a notable collection of sports cards. More than anything, he cherished moments with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. His travels with family were among his favorite memories.

Along with his father, Rui is survived by his siblings: Paulo Arruda, Nelia Arruda, Henry Arruda, Eddie Arruda, Maria Da Silva, and Joey Arruda; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gilberto Arruda.

His funeral services will be private.
