Rose (Moniz) Farias

FALL RIVER… Rose Farias, 93, of Fall River passed away October 21, 2020 at St. Anne’s Hospital

She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Farias with whom she shared 67 years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Silvia) Moniz and had been a lifelong resident of this city.

She enjoyed life to its fullest. Dining at local restaurants, enjoying her white zinfandel , trips to the casino, and grocery shopping. Always a smile on her face and a sense of humor. She loved without hesitation and unconditionally. Her love showed no boundaries.

Survivors include her daughter: Rose-Marie Farias-Araujo of Fall River; her sons: Francisco Farias and Robert Farias, both of Fall river; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. And, her dog Roxy. She was preceded in death by 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Private service will be held Saturday, November 14th, from 5:00- 7:00pm at the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St, Fall River, MA 02724.
