Ronald "Reisie" Reis

Ronald "Reisie" Reis, 68, of Fall River, a longtime taxi cab driver, passed away Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, a son of the late Simao E. and Mary (Reis) Soares; he lived in this city all of his life.

He is survived by 4 sisters, Geraldine Franco, Mary Thorpe, Barbara Hunsinger and Linda Pacheco all of Fall River; a brother, James Soares of Somerset; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William Soares.

He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed fishing and reminiscing from "Down Below the Hill".

His funeral service will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation morning of service 8 - 9 a.m.
