Ronald J. "Ron" Medeiros

Ronald J. "Ron" Medeiros, 64, of Westport, MA, a mason for many years, died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of Cathleen (Lacombe) Medeiros and the former husband of Henriette (Dunn) Medeiros of Fall River.

Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late John and Mary (Rapoza) Medeiros. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Grace Church in Westport.

Mr. Medeiros was a self-employed mason, operating Ron Medeiros Masonry for several years. He previously worked as a union mason with Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Local #3.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kristine Richard of Fall River; two sons, Ronald J. Medeiros of Bristol, RI and Robert J. Medeiros of Fall River; a step-son, Jeffrey Levesque of New York; a sister, Irene Silva of Westport, MA; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Sanford Rd., Westport. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5 - 9 p.m.
