Roberto Ramos Lopez

Roberto Ramos Lopez, 67, of Taunton, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Rhode Island Hospital, in Providence.

    He was the loving husband of Luz P. Torres Colon.

    Born in Loiza, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Gregorio Ramos Escute and Manuela Lopez Sanjurjo.

    Prior to retiring, Roberto worked for most of his career in the construction trades, doing carpentry and architectural work. He was a member of the IPEHV Church, in Fall River. In his free time, he enjoyed tending to his garden, watching wrestling, feeding animals, and, most of all, spending time with his family.

    Along with his wife, he is survived by his children Naldy Ramos Pizarro and Melvin Ramos Pizarro; several step children, several sisters, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several brothers.

    His visitation will be held Sunday night, December 22, 2024, from 7 - 9 PM from the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River. 

    His funeral service will follow the next day, Monday, December 23, at 8 AM, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery, Taunton.
