Robert S. Ferreira

FALL RIVER… Robert S. Ferreira, 47, of Fall River passed away, Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Born in Fall River, he was son of the late Robert L. Ferreira and Marilyn (Oliveira) Harrington and had lived in Fall River most of his life.

He was a fourth generation Funeral Director with the Oliveira Funeral Homes of Fall River.

Mr. Ferreira was a member of Santo Christo Church, Fall River where he was active with its feast as well as being active with its credit union. He was a member of the Fall River Funeral Directors Association, Massachusetts Funeral Directors Association, and National Funeral Directors Association. Robert enjoyed playing golf, batting cages, fishing, boating, riding his motorcycle, and was an avid New England Patriots fan. He enjoyed being a Patriots season ticket holder and had the opportunity to attend the Super Bowl a few occasions.

Survivors include his sons: Jonathon R. Ferreira and Ryan F. Ferreira, both of Swansea; his former wife: Christine (Costa) Ferreira of Swansea; a sister Dr. Helen F. Trymbulak and her husband Dr. Walter Trymbulak of Glastonbury, CT; 2 nieces; a nephew; 2 aunts; and many cousins.
