Pauline Dupere

Pauline (Tavares-Garcia) Dupere, 78, of Westport passed away on Friday, February 20, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of 62 years to Donald (Bill) Dupere. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Anna Tavares-Garcia.

Before retiring she was employed by Fall River Manufacturing Company for 30 years.

She is survived by her son Brian Dupere and his wife Shirleanne of Tiverton; a daughter, Debra Harney and her husband Thomas of Fall River; and 3 greatly loved grandchildren, Jennifer Harney, Kate Dupere and Bryan Dupere; 2 sisters, Alice Cabral and the late Delores Medeiros; 2 brothers, James Tavares and Dennis Garcia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 9AM from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, MA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at Holy Ghost Church, Judson Street, Tiverton, RI. Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Main Road, Tiverton. Calling hours will be Monday from 5 - 8 PM.
