Paul E. Terceiro

FALL RIVER - Paul E. Terceiro, 67, of Tiverton, RI, died Tuesday, December 27th at St. Anne's Hospital.
Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late John R. and Laura (Cabral) Terceiro; he was a lifelong resident of Tiverton. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army ROTC Program. In 1971 he was appointed a Reserve Commissioned Officer in the Armed Forces. He was discharged from the USAR in 1979 with the rank of Captain.
He was employed by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Combat Control Systems Code 25 as a lead expert on display technology until his retirement in 2005. Paul was a member of the Minuteman HOG Chapter #2522.
He is survived by a sister, Margaret A. "Peggy" Medeiros of Tiverton, RI; a niece, Deborah Monteiro; three nephews; Dean Medeiros, Mark Terceiro and Gerald Terceiro; great-nieces, Victoria, Katie and Mariel; and great nephews, Zachary, Xavier and Daniel J. He was the brother of the late Gerald Terceiro and Daniel Terceiro. He was the loving pet owner to his late dog King.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, January 3rd at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, Judson St., Tiverton. Committal prayers and interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
