Paul A. Sirois

Paul A. Sirois, 74, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away on August 17, 2021. Born in Fall River, Ma, Paul was a longtime resident of Somerset, Ma. He was the much loved husband of Anne Miranda Sirois, for more than 31 years. He was the son of the late Phillip L. Sirois and the late Germaine V. (Cousineau) Sirois.

Paul earned an Associates of Business Administration degree from Fisher Junior College, in 1974. As an electrician, he owned and operated an electrical services business until retirement, in 2007.

Paul was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Dedicated to serving his country for over 30 years, his military career began in 1964 serving honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He completed his military career in 2001 while assigned to the Massachusetts Army National Guard, retiring in the rank of Sergeant First Class. Paul took great pride in his military service and enjoyed working along side his comrades.

Paul loved cruising and living the Florida lifestyle. He was an active member of the VFW and American Legion organizations. He enjoyed having a cold beer and catching up with longtime friends, especially those he served with in the military.

He is survived by his wife Anne and by his sons Kenneth Sirois of Somerset, and Jeffery Sirois of Westport. He was preceded in death by his son Thomas J. Sirois. He was the brother of Maurice G. Sirois (wife Theresa) of Fall River and the late Rene G. Sirois and the late Robert C. Sirois. He was preceded in death by his beloved twin sister, Pauline I. O’Brien. He is survived by his sisters Lucille C. Herman, of Swansea and Suzanne Y. Miranda (husband Antone) of Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, at 8:00 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 5 – 8 PM.
