Patricia (Medeiros) Burton

Patricia (Medeiros) Burton, 81, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 10, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the loving wife of Kenneth Burton for 60 wonderful years.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Medeiros and Beatrice (Souza) Medeiros.

Patricia worked up to her illness as a homemaker. For many years she was actively involved with the Holy Ghost Church as a CCD teacher, choir member and the leader of the Women’s Guild. She also volunteered for various causes in her community.

Along with her husband, survivors include sons Steven (fiancée Bea Moran) and David Burton (wife Olga), sister Nancy Byron, her grandchildren: Heather Hunt (husband Anthony), Connor Burton, Leandra Burton (husband Nash Biddle), great-granddaughter Adison Hunt.

Gratitude to the healthcare professionals at Southcoast Oncology Center, Visiting Nurse Association and at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

A private Celebration of Life will be scheduled by the family, recognizing that she was loved by many, missed by all.
