Patricia Ann (Amaral) Bigelow

Patricia Ann (Amaral) Bigelow, 74, of Tiverton, RI, passed away Thursday, July 27th, 2023, at home, surrounded by her family.

She was the loving wife of George W. Bigelow, Jr.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Amaral and Virginia (Silvia) Amaral, and sister of the late Alfred P. Amaral.

Along with her husband, survivors include her children: George J. Bigelow and wife Elizabeth of Fall River, Rhonda Ann Drolet and Holli Beth Faria, both of Tiverton; her grandchildren: Amanda Bearden, Ryan Bigelow, Jessica Szpila, Ashley Drolet, Nicholas Drolet, Jacob Bigelow, and Jillian Bigelow; her great grandchildren: Katazina Szpila, Tanager Szpila, Scarlet Chase, Harrier Szpila, and James Ryan Bigelow; along with a niece and nephews.

Patricia worked several jobs during her career, but she will be remembered for the 38 years she spent as a vocalist. During that time, she had the honor of performing with her band, Anythin’ Goes, for President Bill Clinton in Fall River, MA in front of 20,000 people. She had a passion for singing and was a member of the St. Theresa’s Church Choir. Pat loved life and was always the life of the party. She also enjoyed dancing, traveling, and spending time in her Florida home. Pat was a radiant person whose endless love touched all her family, friends, and neighbors.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, MA, at 5 PM followed by a visitation from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The American Cancer Society.
