Mary "Mae" Wargat

Mary "Mae" (Clairmont) Wargat, 89, of Somerset Ridge, 455 Brayton Avenue, Somerset, formerly of Crawford St., Fall River, passed away Saturday at the center. She was the wife of the late Edward W. Wargat.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Mary (Fragoza) and step-father Antonio Faria, she resided most of her life in Fall River.

Mrs. Wargat was a former member of the St. Patrick's Women's Guild, now Good Shepherd Parish. She was a former CCD teacher, a Eucharistic minister and a morning greeter for Sunday morning mass at the parish.

A retired machine operator, she worked at the former Fayette Dress Shop for 25 years. She previously had worked for the former Barrett's Donut Shop.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jennie Keate, Dolores Marshall, Theresa Miller, Dorothy, Frisson, Joseph Clairmont and Thomas Paul Clairmont.
