Mary Louise Taggart

Mary Louise (Shanahan) Taggart, 70, of Tiverton, died Thursday at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of 50 years to Edward "Ted" Taggart.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late William and Bridget (Cahill) Shanahan, she resided most of her life in Tiverton.

Mrs. Taggart worked as an office clerk for J.J. Corrugated and also at Aetna Insurance.
She was a member of St. Theresa Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Susan Moore of Riverside, RI; two sons, Michael Taggart of Shirley, NY and William Taggart of Tiverton, RI; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church. Interment in Pocasset Hill Cemetery. Calling hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main Street.
