Mark W. Mathias

Mark W. Mathias, 60, of Fall River, passed away Sunday at home. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late John A. and Rose (Alves) Mathias.

Mr. Mathias worked for Verizon for many years, retiring in 2000.

He is survived by a sister, Sandra Saltz of Holden, MA; 2 brothers, Michael A. Mathias (Wife Diane) of Fall River, MA and John Paul Mathias (Wife Betty) of Westport, MA; several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 2064 South Main St. followed by a Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in Third Baptist Church 260 Stafford Road.
