Maria Clementina Resendes

FALL RIVER - Maria Clementina (Andrade) Resendes, 77, of Fall River, a retired seamstress, died Wednesday at Kindred Tranitional Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Antonio J. Resendes.
Born in Sao Roque, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao Andrade and Deodata Espirito Santo; she lived in Fall River since 1978. She was a communicant of St. Michael's Church. Mrs. Resendes worked in the local garment industry for many years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Maria Pereira and her husband Jose of Fall River and Ana Pereira and her husband Carlos of Fall River; a son, Mario Resendes and his wife Theresa of Somerset; two brothers, Jose Manuel Andrade of Fall River and Joao Fernando Andrade of Somerset; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, December 17th at 9 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, North Main St. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours Friday evening 5-8 p.m.
