Maria M. Raposo

Maria Manuela (Reis) Raposo, 66, of 110 Eagle St., Fall River, died Saturday at home. She was the wife of Cipriano P. Raposo.



Born Sao Roque, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Manuel dos Reis and Lillian M. Reis; she lived in this country since 1973 and was a member of Santo Christo Church. Mrs. Raposo last worked as a machine operator for several years at the former Carousl Mfg. and later for 10 years at Emily Curtains.



Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Teolinda Raposo, Lillian Raposo and Diane Raposo, all of Fall River; two sisters, Lorraine Oliveira and Paula Lima, both of Fall River; five brothers, Elio A. dos Reis, Manuel dos Reis and Rui Reis, all of Fall River, Valdomar Reis of Dighton and Osvaldo Martins of Tiverton; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.



Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 p.m. www.oliveirafuneralhomes.com
