Maria Lucilia Pacheco

Maria Lucilia (da Silveira) Pacheco, 84, of Fall River, died Monday at home. She was the wife of the late Jose R. Pacheco.

Born in St. Jorge, Azores, a daughter of the late Hilario and Clementina (Cardoza) Silveira; she resided in Fall River for the past 41 years.

Mrs. Pacheco had worked as a machine operator for Rondo Knit Sportswear for 10 years. She was a member of Espirito Santo Church.

She enjoyed playing cards and shopping.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Clementina Dias, Lucia P. Sousa and Elisette "Lisa" Teixeira all of Fall River, MA; a son, Jose R. Pacheco, Jr., of Fall River; two sisters, Fatima Moreira and Leonesa Bettencourt both of Terceira, Azores; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lizuarte Silveira and Maria Jose Papelona.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia Street followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Espirito Santo Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday 6 - 9 p.m.
