Maria I. Correia

Maria Isabel (da Costa) Correia, 91, of Dover St., Fall River, died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Manuel Correia.

Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Francisco Inacio da Costa and Angela da Luz Carvalho; she lived in Fall River for the past 31 years.

She was a homemaker and a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Maria dos Anjos Botelho of Canada, Graceana Correia and Maria Camara, both of Fall River; son, Hermano Correia of Fall River; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Juliana Rovoredo and the sister of the late Manuel Inacio da Costa, Hermano Inacio da Costa, Joao Inacio da Costa, Jose Inacio da Costa and Clotilde Almeida.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Thursday 5 - 9 p.m.
