Maria dos Anjos (Medeiros) Reis

FALL RIVER… Maria dos Anjos (Medeiros) Reis, 85, of Fall River passed away November 2, 2016 at Somerset Ridge Center surrounded by her family.
She was the widow of Agostinho S. Reis.
Born in St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Mateus) Medeiros.
Mrs. Reis worked as a Coat Inspector for many years at Whaling Manufacturing.
Survivors include her 3 daughters: Gilberta Reis and her fiancé Donald Desmarais of Fall River, Debora DaSilva and her husband Kenneth of Somerset & Elizabeth Azevedo and her husband Manuel of Lakeville, her 2 sons: Leonard Reis and his wife Elaine of Westport & Agostinho Reis of Fall River, 3 sisters: Maria A. Chaves of Somerset, Serafina Cabral of Swansea & Gilberta Raposa of Fall River, 3 brothers: Anibal Medeiros of Somerset, Edwin Medeiros of St. Michael, Azores & Mario Medeiros of Swansea, 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Jose and Manuel Medeiros.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 S. Main St. Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Parish, 1589 S. Main St. Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday from 5 - 9 PM.
