Margaret Moniz

Margaret (Santos) Moniz, 83, of Gabriel House 261 Oliver St., formerly of Division St., passed away Friday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Anthony S. Moniz.

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Manuel F. and Rose (Estrella) Santos, she was a lifelong resident of this city.

Mrs. Moniz worked as a paraprofessional for the Fall River School Department for 13 years.

She was a member of Santo Christo Church.

She is survived by several cousins and was the companion of the late William C. Tavares.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 6 - 8 p.m.
