Marcia O. Aguiar

Marcia O. Aguiar, 83, of Fall River, passed away Monday, October 16, 2023, surrounded by her family, at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.

She was the widow of the late Hermano Aguiar.

Born in Santo Antonio, Sao Miguel, Açores, she was a daughter of the late Jacinto Matias Aguiar and Maria de Conceicao Cabral.

Marcia worked as a presser in the laundry industry, prior to retiring, and was a devout parishioner of Santo Christo Church. She harbored a special love for Our Lady of Fatima and the three shepherd children (pastorinhos). Above all, Marcia loved her family and was their protector, cherishing the time she spent with them.

Marcia is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, October 21st, from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St, Fall River, at 9 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM, at Santo Christo Church. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Friday evening, from 5 - 8 PM.
