Manuel Ricardo

Manuel F. Ricardo, 76, of Fall River, passed away October 17th, 2024, at Charlton Memorial Hospital, after a long fight with illness, surrounded by his family and loved ones.

    He was the loving husband of Maria J. (Correia) Ricardo.

    Born in Furnas, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Virginio Ricardo and Natalia Ricardo.

    Prior to retiring, he worked for most of his career as a machine operator at JoAnn Fabrics, in Fall River. He was a parishioner of Santo Christo Church and enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with his family and friends.

    Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons Dave Ricardo, Fernando Ricardo, and Ricky Ricardo; his daughters Patricia Raposo and Stephanie Ricardo; his sisters Courmelia Ricardo and Ana Furtado; his grandchildren Clarissa Ricardo and Tyler Raposo; his daughter-in-law Rosie Ricardo; several nieces and nephews.

    A visitation will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 9 - 11 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River. Interment will be private.
