Luis F. Leitao

Luis F. Leitao, 57, of Beach St., Fall River, died Friday at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of Leonia (Furtado) Leitao.

Born in Lisbon, Portugal, he was a son of the late Joaquin and Delfina (Pires) Leitao; he lived in this city since 1980 and was a member of Santo Christo Church.

Mr. Leitao was the former owner for several years of the Fall River Grill.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline F. Leitao (Boyfriend Joe da Silva) of Fall River; a son, Luis Leitao, Jr. of Fall River; a brother, Jose Antonio Leitao of Portugal; a granddaughter, Angelina J. Medeiros; three sister-in-laws and three brother-in-laws; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Cremation to follow. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 p.m. www.oliveirafunerahomes.com
