Luis C. Botelho

Luis C. Botelho, 80, of Fall River, died Wednesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Isabel (Furtado) Botelho.

Born in Agua Retorta, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Francisco Cabral Botelho and Rosa Tomas-Cabral; he resided in Fall River for the past 40 years. He was a member of Santo Christo Church. Mr. Botelho worked as a shoemaker for many years in Portugal.

He is survived by four daughters, Dalia Raposo (Husband Mario), Margaret Valcorba (Husband Luis) and Nancy C. Sousa (Husband John) all of Fall River and Beatrice Rego of Swansea; five granddaughters; and a great-grandson.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:45 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5 - 9 p.m.
