Lorraine J. (Belmore) Arruda

TIVERTON…Lorraine J. (Belmore) Arruda, 86, of Tiverton passed away at Warren Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center .
She was the widow of Lindorpho "Rudy" Arruda.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Emma (Paul) Belmore and had lived in Tiverton for over 37 years. She was a Lead Lady with Sarama Lighting, Lillian and her late husband were the co-owners of the former Rudy's Restaurant.
Mrs. Arruda enjoyed day trips to Foxwoods, dancing, Roller Skating. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 5392 Tiverton Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include a daughter Paula B. Moniz and her husband Norman a son Ruldolph "Rudy" Arruda and his wife Tamara all of Fall River, 7 grandchildren, 9. great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Sheila B. Garcia and sister of the late Joseph E. Belmore, Jr and Emma Moniz.
Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Christopher's Church, Main Road, Tiverton. Inurment will be in Pocasset Hill Cemetery.
