Linda M. Rocha

Linda M. (Rapoza) Rocha, 67, of Dwelly St., Fall River, died Wednesday. She was the wife of Antone J. "Tony" Rocha.

Born in Fall River, MA, a daughter of the late Manuel and Alice (Miranda) Rapoza; she was a lifelong resident of this city. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Day trips to Foxwoods and playing cards. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Mrs. Rocha worked as a Para-professional for B.M.C. Durfee High School for 25 years, retiring 2009.

Besides her husband of 45 years, she is survived by two daughters, Tracy A. Duarte (Husband Jeffrey) of Somerset, MA and Jennifer L. Cordell (Husband Preston) of Clairemont, NC; three grandchildren, Christopher, Chloe and Ryan. She also leaves a dear friend Madeline Grace of Fall River. She was the mother of the late David S. Rocha.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 2064 South Main St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery.
