Lawrence Roies

Lawrence “Larry” Roies, 70, of Tiverton, passed away January 8, 2024 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Born in Fall River, he was a son of the late Albert Sr. and Mary (Moniz) Roies.

Prior to retiring, Larry worked for most of his career as a Custodian for the Tiverton School Department. In his free time, he enjoyed raising chickens and ducks, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his sisters: Irene Deschenes (husband: Arthur) and Cynthia Dubreuil, both of Tiverton, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Albert Roies, Jr and Abel Roies.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 8 - 9:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main St., Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Parish, 951 Stafford Rd. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.

His sister Cindy would like to thank the staff of Avita At Autumn Glen, in Dartmouth, for their exceptional care.
