Laura J. (Dominion) Souza

FALL RIVER… Laura J. (Dominion) Souza, 74, of Fall River passed away January 20, 2021 at St. Anne’s Hospital.

Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Palmira (Trindade) Dominion. She had lived in Tiverton for many years, before moving to Fall River, where she had lived for the last several years.

Ms. Souza was a communicant of the Church of the Holy Ghost, in Tiverton, and had worked as a cashier for many years before retiring. She loved animals, but above anything else, she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters: Karen Franko of Smithfield, RI and Sharon Souza of Fall River; her sister: Aurora Atkinson of Somerset; her brother: Walter Dominion of Somerset; her granddaughters: Hannah and Rebecca Franko; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday, January 26, at 9 AM at Santo Christo Parish, Columbia St. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. The funeral mass will also be livestreamed from Santo Christo's Facebook Page at 9 AM at: www.facebook.com/SantoChristoParish/
