Laura Pimentel

Laura (Farias) Pimentel, 95, formerly of William Street, Fall River, passed away Thursday. She was the wife of the late Thomas Pimentel.

Born in Fall River, MA, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Ana (Soares) Farias;
She was a homemaker and a member of the John Arruda Senior Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Lucy Sequeira (Husband Tony) of Assonet, MA and Ann Pimentel (Husband Charlie Martins) of Somerset, MA; a granddaughter, Lisa Chapin (Husband Christopher), two great-grandchildren, Marlie and Avery; a nephew, Alfred Farias. She was the sister of the late Maria Farias, Alfred Farias, Manuel Farias and Carlos Farias. The family would like to thank the staff at the Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center for the exceptional care provided to Laura and a special thank you to Lenea Carvalho as her primary care giver.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Visitation morning of funeral 9 to 10 a.m.
