Julieta C. (Correia) Furtado

FALL RIVER… Julieta C. (Correia) Furtado, 98, of Fall River passed away March 11, 2020 at Southpointe Rehabilitation Center, Fall River.

She was the wife of Joseph Furtado.

Mrs. Furtado was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Joao and Zalia (Borges) Correia and was a lifelong resident of this city.

She was a seamstress at Fall River Knitting Mill for 20 years until her retirement.

Mrs. Furtado enjoyed doing word search puzzles and reading.

Survivors include her son Jeffrey J. Furtado of Fall River, 2 granddaughters: Kimberly Furtado, Rachel Furtado, a great grandson Christopher Braga, several nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Leo Correia.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be invited will be at the Oliveira Funeral Homes - South Main Street Chapel, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, on Monday at 9 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at Good Shepherd Parish, 1598 South Main Street, Fall River.  Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 – 8 P. M. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
