Joshua J. Barboza

Joshua J. Barboza, 27, of South Main St., Fall River, a former Harvey Industries employee, died Saturday. Born in Fall River, MA, a son of Anthony Barboza of RI and Rolanda M. (Vieira) Barboza of No. Dartmouth and step-son of Keith Mello; he was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, class of 2006. Joshua was a very loving and outgoing person. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and trips to Foxwoods. An avid sports fan, he regularly followed the Boston Celtics and saw the Red Sox win the last World Series. Besides his mother and father, he is survived by three brothers, Anthony Barboza and Shawn Barboza, both of Fall River and Ronnie Barboza of Dartmouth; a half sister, Tonianne Allard of Dartmouth; his paternal grandmother, Mary Barboza of Fall River; two nephews; aunts and uncles and cousins. His funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Acushnet Ave., New Bedford.
