Joseph Mello Rebello

SOMERSET - Joseph Mello Rebello, 75, of Shove St., Fall River, died Monday, Dec. 18th at his daughter's residence. He was the former husband of Lucy (Couto) Rebello.
Born in Santa Cruz, conselho de Lagoa, Azores, he was the son of the late Joao da Ponte Rebelo and Maria Adelina (Melo) Rebelo; he lived in this country for the past 45 years. Mr. Rebello was the owner and operator of the former Rainbow Vertical Blinds in Fall River for 23 years. He enjoyed working and shopping.
Besides his former wife, he is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Silva and her husband Jamie of Somerset, MA; a son, Paul Rebello and his wife Sonia of Somerset, MA; a brother, Agnelo Rebelo of the Azores; three grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah and Ryder; and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two sisters and a brother.
His Funeral will be held Friday, December 22nd at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, Stafford Road, Fall River.
