Joseph J. Khoury

Joseph J. Khoury, 80, of Swansea, died Monday, Sept. 5th at home. He was the husband of Lillian (Franco) Khoury.

Born in Swansea, MA, he was a son of the late Ameen Khoury and Bessie (Borack) Khoury; he lived in Swansea for most of his life.

Mr. Khoury worked for 18 years at General Dynamics as a supervisor in the pipefitting and covering department.

Besides his wife, he is survived by four sons, Joseph J. Khoury, Jr. (Wife Eunice) of TN, Jeffrey J. Khoury (Wife Amy) of Virginia, Jason Khoury of Swansea and Jordan Khoury (Wife Merideth) of Rehoboth; two sisters, Frances Aguiar and Catherine Baker, both of Fall River and Teresa Spaulding of Texas; a brother, Norman Khoury of Milford; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late George, Paul and Richard Khoury.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. John of God Church, Somerset. Burial will be private. Calling hours are omitted. Arrangements are by the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St.
