Jose Rodrigues

FALL RIVER…Jose Rodrigues, 87, of Fall River passed away November 16, 2017 at his home.
He was the husband of Maria Alda (Gomes) Rodrigues.
Born in Santa Clara, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Maria (Gomes) Rodrigues.
Mr. Rodrigues was a communicant of Santo Christo Church in Fall River. He worked as a Boat Painter with All Day Boat before his retirement.
Along with his wife, survivors include his children; Lucia Bento, Maria Vieira, Carlos Rodrigues, & Luis Rodrigues, all of Fall River, his brother, Manuel Pedro of Sao Miguel, Azores, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was father of the late Maria Ferreira and was brother of 7 siblings who predeceased him.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Tuesday at 8 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia St. Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia St. Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 - 7 PM.
