John Correia

John Correia, 86, of 21 Corbett St., Fall River, died Tuesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, MA, he was a son of the late Agostinho and Dionisia (Carvalho) Correia; he lived in Fall River for most of his life and was a member of Santo Christo Church. He was a longtime participant of the Elder Service Program on Fr. Davol St.

He is survived by two sisters, Frances Antone and Irene Ozug, both of Fall River; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his longtime friends from his home on Corbett St. He was the brother of the late Augustine Correia.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:45 in Santo Christo Church. Entombment in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation morning of funeral from 8-9:30 a.m. Please omit flowers.
