Joao L. Sousa

FALL RIVER… Joao L. Sousa, 64 of Fall River passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his home.
He was the husband of Alda M. (Gomes) Sousa of Fall River.
Born in Sé�o Roque, Sé�o Miguel, Açores, he was a son of the late Faustino and Ilda (Silva) Sousa.
Mr. Sousa enjoyed Soccer and fishing.
Along with his wife, survivors include his daughter, Marilyn Sousa of Fall River, 2 grandsons; Ethan Custodio and Isaiah Calderon, a brother, Raul Jose Souza of Sé�o Miguel, 3 sisters; Ilda Vasconcelos of Somerset, Luisa Reis of Fall River and Alsuira Pedro of Portugal, several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Manuel Sousa.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:30 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Good Shepherd Parish, South Main St. Fall River. Interment will be private. Calling hours will be Monday from 9 - 10:30 AM, prior to the funeral.
