Joao C. Rovoredo

Joao C. Rovoredo, 64, of Fall River, died Wednesday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Maria J. (Correia) Rovoredo.

Born in Capelas, St. Michael, Azores, he was a son of the late Vitor Rovoredo Botelho and Natalia Moniz Da Silva; he resided in Fall River for the past 30 years. While living in the Azores he was a soccer player. Mr. Rovoredo worked as a laborer in the local construction industry.

He is survived by two daughters, Sandra P. Rovoredo and Monica C. Rovoredo, both of Fall River; two sisters, Liliana Pacheco and Maria Rovoredo, both of Fall River; a brother, Eduardo Rovoredo of Quebec, Canada; two nieces and two nephews.

His funeral will be held Monday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 5 - 8 p.m.
