Joao A. Pacheco

TIVERTON... Joao A. Pacheco, 71, of Tiverton passed away December 5, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the husband of Mary O. (Pacheco) Pacheco to whom he had been married for 46 years.

Born in the Azores, he was a son of the late Henrique da Ponte Pacheco and Maria Assuncao (Aguiar) Pacheco.

Mr. Pacheco was a communicant of Holy Ghost Church in Tiverton and had worked for over 10 years as a Composite Fabricator at TPI in Warren until his retirement in 2002. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and sending time with is grandchildren.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his daughter: Cheri Blythe and her husband Michael of Tiverton; his son: Michael Pacheco of Tiverton; 2 grandchildren: Victoria and Zachary; his brother: Jose Henrique Pacheco of Canada; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Maria Neves Aguiar Bulhos.

Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10 AM at Holy Ghost Church, 316 Judson St. Tiverton, RI. Burial will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Oliveira Funeral Home, 2064 South Main St. Fall River, MA 02724.
