Jean Paul "JP" Lauzon

Jean Paul "JP" Lauzon, 37, of Division St., Fall River, passed away Thursday. Born in Norwood, MA, a son of the late Paul M. and Maria A. (Sousa) Lauzon. Mr. Lauzon was a landscaper for many years; but for the last 10 years he was a member of the Laborers International Union, Local 610.

He enjoyed working on cars and various other items that needed repair. J.P. was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved old school rap music and enjoyed hanging out with friends. He also enjoyed watching the History and Discovery Channel. His laugh, smile and kindness to others will be greatly missed.

He is survived by 2 sisters, Maria Paula Lauzon of Randolph and Maria Pauline Antunes (Husband "Fred") of Fall River; an aunt and uncle, Laurenio and Maria F. Verissimo of Fall River; a niece, Lauren Antunes; and 2 nephews, Jacob Neil Cabral and Lucas Antunes.

Funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment is private. Calling hours today 5 - 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Starr Treatment Center, 386 Stanley St., Fall River, MA.
