Janet A. Medeiros

FALL RIVER - Janet A. (Polycarpo) Medeiros, 85, of Tiverton, RI, died Saturday, Dec. 16th at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Antonio Medeiros.
Born in New Bedford, MA, she was the daughter of the late David and Alice (Rioux) Polycarpo; she was a resident of Tiverton for the past 50 years. Mrs. Medeiros was employed as a mall supervisor for many years at the former Bradlees Department Store.
She is survived by a daughter, Maryann Medeiros of Tiverton, RI; a brother, Norman Polycarpo of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Carol Medeiros and the sister of the late Florence Polycarpo, Lionel Polycarpo and Albert Polycarpo.
Her Funeral will be held Thursday, December 21st at 8 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 a.m. Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Stafford Road, Fall River. Calling hours Wednesday 5-7 p.m.
