Jacinto B. Rodrigues, 55, of Swansea, died Saturday at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was the husband of Maria F. (Pedrosa) Rodrigues.
Born in Ponta Delgada, St. Michael, Azores; a son of the late Luciano and Maria Conceicao (Tavares) Rodrigues, he resided in Swansea for the past 27 years.
Mr. Rodrigues worked as a machine operator for Jo-Ann Fabrics for 20 years.
He was a member of the Sociedade Cultural Acoreana and the Amigos Unidos Holy Ghost.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Michael Rodrigues (wife Eva) of Fall River; and David Rodrigues of Swansea; two sisters, Fatima Brinco of Edmonton, Canada and Conceicao Pereira of St. Michael, Azores and a brother, Venice Rodrigues of Toronto, Canada; three granddaughters, Chelsea, Shelby and Kiara and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Luciano Rodrigues.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 7:30 a.m. from the Oliveira Funeral Home 215 Columbia St. followed by a Funeral Mass at 8:30 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 6 - 9 p.m.
