Ines de Castro Pacheco

FALL RIVER…Ines de Castro Pacheco, 92, of Fall River passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.

She was the widow of the late Mario Raposo Carvalho.

Mrs. Pacheco was born in the Azores a daughter of the late Antonio Bento and Maria Emilia de Castro Pacheco.

Ines was employed as a housekeeper with the former Our Lady of Health Church and enjoyed cooking for her family.

Survivors include a son Jose Carvalho of Fall River, a daughter Emilia Raposo Pacheco of Cambridge, 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of 7 siblings that predeceased her.

A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street, Fall River. Calling hours will be held prior to the service, Wednesday 8:30 – 9:30 A.M. at the Oliveira Funeral Home, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
