Humberto C. Leonardo

FALL RIVER… Humberto C. Leonardo, 90, of Fall River passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at Fall River Healthcare.

He was the widower of Anna L. (Dutra) Leonardo.

He was born in Agua Retorta, St Michaels, Azores a son of the late Manuel C. and Rosa (Servant) Leonardo and had lived most of his life in Fall River.

Mr. Leonardo was a Weaver for the former Berkshire Hathaway and Quaker Fabric and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his son: Steven Leonardo of Fall River, 2 sisters: Mary Viera (late husband Joseph Viera, Sr.) of Dartmouth and Sara Valentino (husband Dimas Valentino) of Fall River, 2 grandchildren: Tracy and Timothy Leonardo, 1 great-grandchild: Ella Rose Dicesaro, 2 god sons: David Valentino and Joseph Viera, Jr., and several nieces and Nephews.  He was the father of the late Leonara A. Barbosa (late husband Carlos Barbosa) and brother of the late Manuel C. Leonardo, Jr., Herculano C. Leonardo, and James Leonardo.

A memorial mass will follow at a later date, to be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Humberto's memory to a charity of your choice. Private arrangements are by the Oliveira Funeral Homes, 215 Columbia St, Fall River, MA.
