Hilda (Palhinha) Ouellette

FALL RIVER… Hilda (Palhinha) Ouellette, 61, of Fall River, formerly of Westport, MA, Middleburg, FL and Hobe Sound, FL, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at St. Anne’s Hospital, in Fall River.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Agostinho Palhinha and Eugenia (Brazil) Palhinha.

She loved her kids and was their greatest supporter and confidante in whatever they wanted to do. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, the beach, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Veronica Richard (husband Scott), of Jacksonville, FL, and Robert A. Ouellette Jr., of Fall River; her sisters: Jenny Smyka (husband John), of Westport, and Nina Palhinha, of Fall River; her nieces and nephews: Eric, Jenn, David, Michael, Joshua, Matthew, Kayla, Sam, Spencer, Olivia, Samantha, Cody, Cloey, Brendan, and Brittany; and her former husband: Robert A. Ouellette Sr. She was the sister of the late Suzie Coelho.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
