Hilda T. Henriques Martins

Hilda T. (Silvia) Henriques Martins, 86, of 57 Bates St., Fall River, died Thursday at Clifton Rehabilitation Center in Somerset. She was the wife of the late Alfred Martins.

Born in Little Compton, RI, she was a daughter of the late John Silvia and Maria (Alberto) Silvia Ochutti; she resided in Fall River for most of her life. Mrs. Martins worked as a sewing machine operator for 35 years at the former Darwood Mfg.

She is survived by a son, Antone Henriques, Jr. (Wife Colleen) of Fall River; 2 step-children, Derick Martins of Fall River and Lisa Atkins of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Jocelyn Johnson (Husband Jay) and Keith Henriques (Wife Beth-Ann); 2 step-grandchildren, Kayla and Kyle Bouchard; two sisters, Virginia Morgan of Tiverton and Emelia Ferreira of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Roberts, Frank Silvia, Helen Andre, John Silvia and James Silvia.
