Helen Patricio

Helen (Souza) Patricio, 98, of Fall River, passed away, September 12, 2024, at Kimwell Nursing Home, in Fall River.

    She was the widow of the late Jorge R. Patricio.

    Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late Joaquim Souza and Henrieta (Pacheco) Souza.

    Helen worked for most of her career as a packer at the former Frito Lay, and after her retirement, she also worked as a lunch aide at the N.B. Borden School for several years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

    Survivors include her son Paul F. Patricio (wife Tonia); her grandchildren Shahdan, Joseph, Maia, and Paul; several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Rodney M. Patricio and sister of the late Mary Teves, Manuel Souza, and John Souza.

    Her funeral will be held Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 9 AM from the Oliveira Funeral Home - South Main St. Chapel, 2064 South Main Street, Fall River, followed by prayers in the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday night from 5 - 7 PM.
