Gloria M. (Feitor) Leite, 75, of Fall River, a retired jewelry assembler, died Monday at home. She was the wife of the late Manuel V. Leite.
Born in Povoacao, St. Michael, Azores, she was a daughter of the late Joao and Adelina (Melo) Feitor; she lived in Fall River since 1979 and was a member of Santo Christo Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking and baking. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. Above all, she was a very loving mother.
Mrs. Feitor worked as a jewelry assembler for Swank Mfg. in Attleboro. She previously worked as a seamstress at the former Darwood Mfg.
She is survived by two daughters, Maria de Deus Leite of Fall River and Nelia Cateon (husband Fern) of Fall River; two sons, Jorge M. Leite (wife Ines) of Somerset, MA and Paul M. Leite (wife Penni) of Greensboro, NC; three brothers, Joao Feitor of New Bedford, Eugenio Feitor of St. Michael, Azores and Jose Joaquin Feitor of Brazil; 5 grandchildren, Victoria, Melissa, Bryanna, Alexis and Leo; two great-grandchildren, Merissa and McKenzie; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 7:30 a.m. from the OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia St., followed by a Funeral Mass at 8:30 a.m. in Santo Christo Church. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 5-8 p.m.
