Gilda Aguiar

FALL RIVER… Gilda (Pacheco) Aguiar, 89, of Fall River passed away, April 2, 2019 at Catholic Memorial Home.
She was the widow of Manuel Aguiar. Mrs. Aguiar was born in Porto Formoso, St. Michael, Azores a daughter of the late Jose and Ricarda dos Anjos (Cabral) Pacheco Souza and had lived in this country since 1970.
She was employed as a folder with Carousel Manufacturing for 22 years.
Survivors include a daughter Delia Aguiar of Fall River, 2 sisters: Etelvina Rebelo and Irene Teixeira both of St. Michael, grandmother of Sarah Aguiar and Christopher Aguiar, great grandmother of Lucas Joseph Aguiar and Ethan Aguiar. She was the mother of the late Joseph Aguiar, and sister of the late Joao Sousa, Manuel Sousa, Jose Pacheco Sousa, Domingos Sousa and Maria Ferreira.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Monday 9:00 AM at OLIVEIRA FUNERAL HOME, 215 Columbia Street, Fall River, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Santo Christo Church, Columbia Street Fall River. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Calling hours will be 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM
